The subverting of established manufacturing norms in design is something we never tire of. The latest quirk with which we're rather taken is courtesy of Pieke Bergmans, our very own Best Breakthrough Designer from the Wallpaper* 2007 Design Awards. 'Unlimited Edition' is a production of unique vases, the result of Bergmans and Madieke Fleuren having been granted access to the European Ceramic Work Centre (EKWC) in Holland.

I really like this soft and strong shapes… the soft and raw feeling touched me.
