With 160 works by artists from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Estonia, this publication considers the significance, strategies and trends of Nordic jewellery art in the early twenty-first century. Expert authors present the backgrounds, developments and characteristics of contemporary jewellery.

The touring exhibition, From the Coolest Corner, is conceived as a
follow-up of the successful Nordic jewellery exhibitions in 1996/7 and 2002/3.
Each Nordic country will be thoroughly presented at the exhibition. A total of
about 160 works will be on show, including a selected group of artists from Estonia.
An international expert jury has selected the participants based on
applications from the artists. The exhibition will feature the newest and most
advanced of Nordic jewellery, and presented to a wide audience.
