Hi! Is dificult for me to express, I'll try! I like of this the idea of the hole, the misterious that seems to need something on the back, whith dificult to find and see it. Montserrat
This is just trying outs, but I see a lot of interesting potentials for this piece and a ”background” may be would be interesting?! To work with a “cleaner” material as a complement may be could be something?! But the idea is that just for this exercise was to work with “doing nothing” and in this society it’s hard to just do “nothing”.
I hope that this workshop and the material that show up will be an inspiration source for the pupil, to inspirited and investigate more in/about… That the pupil will work further with the idea of, to use it in their later jewelleries… that they are able to see the value of doing this kind of work.
I have a Master of Fine Arts in applied arts and crafts degree, I’m curios about life and I like a lot of things, everyday life things transformed into art is one of my interesting…
Hanging around with friends, travel, reading a good/interesting book is doing my life good.
I will have this blog to showing the times between, the life, the process and all kind of inspiration sources for my art work.
I’m working mostly with body related art; jewellery art, but I also lecturing and working with photo and enamel… My focus is on recycling material in different shapes.
I holding speeches about my way of working and why… for galleries, art clubs or school that need inspiration or some new views or just curious about whom I am as a jewelry artist.
Workshops are also something that I´m doing. From children to adults.
If you run a gallery, work at schools or other places that could be interesting about my art as a jewelry artist don´t hesitate to contact me for a show, speech or workshop.
