Today I was visit the antiquarian bookshop; Bokmalen in Haga, I meet the owner Karin Larsson Wentz and she told me that antiquarian bookshop has been there for 21 years… it’s almost as long that I have been living in Gothenburg (23 years this autumn).
We were talking about how good it is to read and take care of old book sand sell them further, and that I was glad that it still is some ”old” shops left in this amazing area, Haga.
These days it’s a lot of flashier shops there, much depending on the rents in the popular area; it’s really nice hoods, both for us who lives in Gothenburg permanently but also for all the tourists who visit Gothenburg.
I can absolutely recommend the antiquarian bookshop, Bokmalen and also another bookshop that runs of the same owner, but has new books to fewer prices; there you can find art, photo, garden, children books etc.

Her you can search for books from all the Nordic countries;
http://www.antikvariatnet.se/May be Karin will sell Joanne Haywoods Mixed-media Jewellery: Methods and Techniques.
Would be nice, because I think it’s a good book and it could be a nice book to start with if you are interesting in jewellery art and also if you want to know about jewellery mad out of mixed media, not common every day life jewellery or design… unique pieces and the way jewellery artist think about their work and way the work as they do.
A very nice meeting and a nice talk!
