the earthly doorway to paradise…

Den jordiska porten till paradiset,
The earthly doorway to paradise…

I wonder if this is the doorway that they were thinking off?
This is a door way at Risåsberget in the beginning of Skansen Krona.

11-11-11...

The rest off…
I got this pic from Annie Winterqvist a college at my work.
She missed the Swiss roll at Kungsgatan, but she gets an image of the rest…

A 600 meter long and 3 ton big Swiss roll, it was made for 15000 people and was served at one of the main shopping streets in Gothenburg.

Charlotta Eidenskog...

Välkommen på Charlotta Eidenskogs utställning

Från en högre höjd

Two Little Birds, Göteborg.

Vernissage 19/11 kl 13-17.
Utställningen pågår tom 14/12

Öppettider: Mån-Tor 11-19, Fre-Sön 11-17
www.twolittlebirds.se

...

A brooch, present in a little bite better way then before...

finally…

Now I have finished two more pieces for a coming up exhibition…
This is brooches.

the intention was art...

Sunday was aimed to be a culture Sunday, me and my friend Viola had the intention to visit Konstmuséet and the Frida Kahlo and Jan Lööf exhibition, but it was far to long lines for the opening of the Hasselblad centres opening of the winner of the year; Walid Raad.
HASSELBLAD CENTERThe exhibition Walid Raad Hasselblad Award Winner 2011 November 12–January 15 2012.

We took a walk down town and look at things in our surrounding, a grey and warm day and absolutely perfect for a slow walk.

We have to get back to Konstmuséet some other day, when it’s not so messy with visitors.

It becomes a great day anyhow, with good company and some art experience in the city.

We ended up with a fika, it’s always nice to have a coffee and a cake and some small talk…

at Bazarbron, downtown Göteborg...

Yellow Splitch, a sound and light installation…

At Bazarbron downtown Göteborg. The installation is a collaboration between Swedish artist group Dånk! and French architecture group Metipolis. With the help of volunteers, the groups have over the course of one week built an installation covering the pedestrian bridge. The artwork is part of the annual festival Julstaden Göteborg and will—if the delicate components withstand the elements—be on display until end of December 2011.http://konstepidemin.blogspot.com/

Also one day behind, my intention was to be here at the opening, I didn’t have the time or the energy to bicycle down town at Saturday evening…

It was a poetic feeling to see all these cups flowing against a grey white sky… it felt like notes in the sky. It went from yellow green into pink.

chain fast...

I wonder how they were thinking?! Is it possible that these trees will run away?!
Two old trees chain fast down town…
A funny thought to think that these trees can go crazy down town.

the end...

A part of a sculpture…

four pipeguys...

Some pipe guys hanging around down town…

just a reflection…

Poseidon is on vacation, he is on spa for some months…

r.i.p. korvmojen...

One of my favourites korvmojor/hot-dog stand, if I have to eat hotdogs, this was the hot-dog stand at Avenyn that I choose, but now it’s just a memory… Pity!
This was one of the places that served vegetarian fast food and delicious potatismos/mashed potatoes.

"våren"...

The spring is meeting the autumn, a lovely sculpture that I haven’t seen before, I love the expression of this sculpture.

paintball and public sculptures don’t fits so well together…

(...) As my objects or items of jewelry speak for themselves, I try to keep narratives out of my work.

Their geometrical forms are neutral, despite being filled to bursting with symbolic content. Departure from a geometric form leads into narrative.

My treatment of surfaces expresses in part my interest in painting, and my objects and items of jewelry are as much images as they are sculptures.
Working with surfaces and colour naturally influences interpretations of the content of jewelry: this reinforces or creates contradictions. (...)

Tore Svensson
Brooch: Box 2011
Steel, paint
Etched. Fired with linseed oil.

I like Tore Svensson jewellery boxes very much, they are clear, they are sharp and they have nice and beautiful surfaces and they leave a lot to my imagination, to add my own ideas and fantasy into the pieces and that is great work I think… I also like the way Tore Svensson work with many similar pieces, when plurality makes a total impression when every piece is a reflection of the others. Investigation is the main word of the work I think.

I hope that one day I can be a owner of one of theses boxes, I like or love brooches and I wear brooches more or less every day, I think it add some to my personality and I think it says something about my day, my choice of brooches before I went to work, and off course I believe that I made people happy over the small sculptures that I add to my clothes… Make other see, thing and feel.
