kulturnatta...

Kulturnatta in Gothenburg Friday 11th of October… The event started in Trädgårdsföreningen in the centre of the town, I have to say that I´m not so impressed by the opening, the spot of the act was not so nice I think, maybe the idea of having the performance close to the water was a great idea, but the once that had arrange this haven´t been thinking of all the trees that was in the way for the view…  But the up lightning of the trees in the park was lovely!

I and my friends Anita and Malin took a walk and did some drop in at different event spots, first the opening, then Röhsska  design museum and some hat makings, then the great performance at Prickig katt at Magasinsgatan by Benedikte Esperi , with friends.– Fenomene… Then we end up at Lagerhuset a great “plock” dinner and some beer, I like Lagerhuset a lot, great staff and the interior is creative and nice. Finally a last beer at the Rovers at the Second Long Street or Andra Långgatan, for me a favorite street in Gothenburg close to my hoods.

A great and funny evening!

process…

I have heard that rowan is good for the health, so now a little bite late at the season I have pick the rowan and now I will freeze them and then eat three a day and hope I will get a lot of energy this autumn and winter. I can´t be wrong to try…

a beginning of a cloud…

This is an idea that I need to do, to see if I can do some clouds idea with this…
Crochet with nylon line and glass beads.

breath in and breathes out...

This is a new try out piece… I made it from a piece that I did in Ravenstein, The Netherlands under the workshop Now Root’s with Ruudt Peters. I was inspirited about the morning mediations, I have never meditate before, my idea about meditation has been that it´s waste of time, sitting and doing nothing, but I had change my mind and I think it was a great pleasure with myself for a time.

This is the idea of breath in and breathes out that you doing under the mediation, an image that comes up in my “mind” when I was participant in the morning meditation…

Gunilla Grahn at Four...

work in progress…

In the end this will be a neck piece… I like the mad plastic rabbits “eating” at a plastic play sausage, it can be fun and interesting in the end… I hope.

sometimes it don´t goes as you want…

You have an idea that didn´t went out as you suppose, just kill your darlings or as in this case, throw it away, don´t add more energy into something you don´t have the faith at. I thought in my imagination that this could be something, but in reality, no… This is the way of working with art, you need to try and you also let it go, not everything you do will be great or interesting art, it´s in fact very little of all the things you create that you can use as art objects in the end, that’s facts and it´s the hard reality.

But it by the try outs and the mistake you learn and have the opportunity to take the right way next time (hopefully).

I needed to do this and I also needed to throw it away, let the idea go and do something else instead.

as always, just for fun…

Just some try outs with small pieces from the bread and butter work I have… This is a pen bird or nothing at all, maybe it could inspire the once I work with or lead me into something new in the end, you never know what pop ups… Create and be curios are a great way of working and walk.

autumn...

For me it´s easy to take my jewellery eyes on and see jewellery in things around me, this autumn inspiration images I see both pendant in the shape or nice red rosehip and the strange fungal formation I fund in my hoods, it´s looks like a formation of a collier made by nature and dropped by some nature goblins or other creature…

I´m not sure that the grass would be greener, even if it´s grass there…

I´m not so comfortable with this grass idea at my favorite area Klippan and Röda Sten, when you do it nice and pretty you lose the charm and faith that people/citizen can create lovely place just to be there, filled it with whatever they want for the moment… This grass seeds popped up from one week to another. We have to be wear of all this lovely free spaces places that we seeing as non- area- places, I believe that this kind of places are good for the citizens creativity, so please all you that want to do our city “nicer”, think twice, and ask you the question why and for who are you doing it???

maybe I look this way in your eyes?!

This could represent my outside… But my inside is full of life and my ideas strand inside my body and brain, like a bubble lemonade feeling.

I still thinking; clouds…

I´m on my way but I work slow this time, a lots of ideas and thoughts more than physical work…
