Yesterday I was offered a permanent post at Kulturlabbet, so now I know how to get my “bread and butter”

happy birthday dear Tova!

An important happening that I totally forgot when I catch up”all” missing or last posts…

My fantastic niece Tova celebrates her 11 anniversary the 1st of June, the time fly.
I was not able to celebrate with her, my dad send me some pics from the birthday party with the family.

bob hund...

Monday the 13th of June… Bob Hund at Liseberg.

I LOVE the energy that Bob hund have in their shows. Even if the rain was poring down I was standing with a smile on my lips and a feeling of happiness.

for my friend Carin…

Carin, here you can see the plant that I got from you, the “new” home…

a view from my home and some ideas that I find out how to work further with…

...

animals in my surroundings…

A snail at my work, we was talking about childhoods playing and I thought that we could have a snail race… it was not a good idea so we let the snail free.

A squirrel in a lamp pole outside my parent’s house… I wonder how it success to clime on the lamp pole, it’s made in steel or some other metal. I think that the squirrel was too afraid of Sigge, my parents Maine cone cat.

My parent’s cat, Sigge and his same same but different cat buddy… (pics from my dad).

National Day of Sweden (Sveriges nationaldag)...

I was near by the ocean this day and had my absolutely first bath this year, it was a little bite to cold for me BUT I did it!

I know a person that has become a new member of the Swedish society this year. Congratulation and welcome!
He got a moose dropping creature by me and some Swedish chocolate just to remember that that will be his Swedish life for a very long time I hope.

a great day in Gothenburg...

Snapshots from the second long street, the street party Saturday the 4th of June.

A lovely mix of a lot of people. These days it’s easy to love Gothenburg and be proud of the plurality alternatives.

I think this among the mega loppis/ flea market in Majorna and that the municipality taking part in the HBTQ question doing Gothenburg as a nice place to live in and to be proud of, that the city isn’t as main stream as many other cities around in Sweden or in the rest of the world.

HBTQ (in Swedish…)

HBTQ pride in Gothenburg a nice happening that all the parties take part, a manifest that connects people, art and sexuality...

HBTQ-Festivalen

http://hbtqfestivalen.se/

mega loppis... Sunday 29 May...

Every last Sunday in May since tree years back in time we have a mega flea market in my hoods, Majorna, a great idea!

Everyone that want to sell things can put the things on the streets of Majorna and others can walk around and finding.

Last year I missed it but this year I took a walk with my neighbour and friend Viola and we run into nice people and nice findings.

As usual a fika isn’t wrong in the end; we end up at café Hängmattan at Musikens hus in our hoods, a great alternative café with mixed people, and delicious cakes and coffee…

Konstepideminsdag Saturday 28th of May…

I and my friend Anita had the idea of going to Hammarkullen and the yearly carnival up there, but the rain was poring down so we end up at Konstepidemin, a great choice after Hammarkullen.

We walk around and looking at all the great events and art, we meet two of the Danish artist in the group QWERTY.

It’s always a great atmosphere at Konstepidemin, lovely people even in rainy weather.

We ending the great day with a delicious dinner at Gyllene Prag.

I add the poster from Hammarkullen just to show the poster and that a lot of things happen all around Gothenburg at the same time… and sometimes it’s impossible to be at two places at the same time...

QWERTY and Maria Friberg...

QWERTY is an association consisting of 10 artists from Denmark. QWERTY is based on the Danish tradition of artists associations. QWERTY is not fixed on any artistic position. QWERTY is a community of practice, where the idea is to put forward new examples of methods and practice in the visual arts. This happens by co-operation across the borders of art and artistic disciplines. Our mission, amongst others, is to challenge each other in our practice, and to create paths to new art forms and exhibition projects. The projects vary greatly in their formal look, as well as in their relationship to the conditions of the exhibition space.

S.O.T Konstvideofestival presenterar

Verket Blown out är producerat I San Francisco 1999.
