Sur Hornstulls
concept/idea:
SUR Hornstull is
a new space for contemporary art, craft and design in Stockholm, Sweden. We
support and present booth young talents and international established
artists/designers which are expressing themselves on contemporary topics and
issues. Contemporary art jewelry is a globally rising trend and presents an
important discipline.
The space is a
combination of coffee shop, gallery and workshop, placed in the young, dynamic
and therefore very interesting quarter of Hornstull. The gallery reaches its
daily cliental within a natural street environment and with permanent
happenings between cafe, gallery and workshop it offers a totally new
exhibition perspective.

THE
COFFEE SHOP
SUR HORNSTULL COFFEE SHOP is located at the
entrance and invites to enjoy coffee, cold and basic food related to the word
SUR, sour. Also, the coffee shop exhibits selected art craft and design
products.
THE
GALLERY
SUR HORNSTULL GALLERY is located at the
center heart and offers a closed exhibition space of 20m2 with a clear focus on
contemporary art, craft and design.
THE
WORKSHOP
SUR HORNSTULL WORKSHOP is located
downstairs. Artists and designers have the possibility to rent working tables.

Working
tables for rent from now at SUR HORNSTULL Gallery-Cafe-Workshop.
From now on SUR Hornstull is renting out working tables to artists,
designers and any other creative but relaxed minds which are social and have
team spirit. Each table will cost 2.500kr/month inklusive moms, energy, heat,
water, wireless internet, lamp, coffee and -20% discount of foot products from
the coffee shop. The entire workshop offers about 40m2 and includes a small
launch area with a sofa at the entrance. Sur Hornstulls coffee shop offers a
relaxed atmosphere to enjoy or meeting point. Sur Hornstulls gallery will host
exhibitions contemporary art jewellery and pop up events.
