Woodfired Landscapes
at Röhsska Museum, the opening evening 16 October…
16 October
2012 - 6 January 2013
The
information on the info page are not exactly correct, it was a 3 weeks workshop,
two week s at HDK and one week at Nääs Castel.
It was
participant artist from 7 different countries…Eva Zethraeus was one of the once that work with this woodfire workshop, it´s a little bite pity that she not mention in the info paper that Röhsska Museum have in connection to the exhibition.
Annett
Florén was another one that also was a part of this big workshop with great
results.
Zach Tate
from USA was also one that runs this workshop…
Some of the
pieces at the exhibition I really really like more than others, Ching Yuan
Chang – Taiwan, Untitle, Anagama fired stoneware was my favorite and then
Torbjörn Kvasbö – Norway, Rörform, Anagama fired stoneware, Zach Tate – USA,
Untitle, anagama fired porcelain BUT I have
to say that even if I´m not so familiar with clay and ceramic I really really
enjoy every piece in the exhibition and I found it very interesting to see and
talk about the pieces with ceramic artists, just to know it become as it become…
Good
work Eva and Annett!!! And of course all the great artist that participant in
this workshop.
