I want to hold your hand... in Borås...

En utställning om den svenska popens 50-åriga historia
1963 spelade Beatles i
Borås. Detta uppmärksammar Borås konstmuseum med en stor och underhållande
utställning om musik och konst. I utställningen I Want To Hold Your
Hand har ett trettiotal svenska konstnärer låtit sig inspireras av den
svenska popen med dess förgreningar. Dessutom visas en mängd foto, skivomslag
och flyers som kan föra tankarna till oförglömliga musikupplevelser.
Utställningen kommer
även att låta - med spelningar och andra liveframträdanden.

coming up next year…
Today I started
collaboration with another artist, from another art field… This will be very
very interesting and I hope that when we reach our goal you all will be able to
take part of it, both visual in real
life and at this blog and may be at other places…
This will
be my work, her work and a new product in the end that we mix our skills into a
whole new art thing… I look forward this lot and I think it will give me new
energy in my jewellery making.
I don´t
want to tell too much right now, but I promise, you will notice it in somehow.

I had the opportunity
to stop by at Sintra today, to have a look at Åsas well done jewellery, very
nice to see! Her manual skills are
amazing even if the expression is a little
bite to adult for my personally taste,
but her manual skills I admire a lot.

Sunday - boot flea market...
I was away
with my Friend Ingela and her daughter Luna to the outdoor boot flea market at
Slottsskogsvallen. It was great spring weather and it was a lot of people there.
I bought a
button phone or a stationary once, that didn´t work when I got home, then I bought
two small plastic animals as gifts to some of y friends…
We ended up
at café Zenit in my hoods for a fika.
A great spring
day, now you finally can feel the spring for real I think…
I do my
bicycle ready for the season, so tomorrow my official bicycle season starts,
now I will take the bike to work.
Saturday...
Saturday
morning I was on at meeting about the Kallbadhusets vänner being or not being…
It was a strange
and very interesting meeting with a lot of anger in the air even if the good
forces was there, for me as a passive member it was hard to understand all
going on things, but I was there to show my support and that I really really
want this place to continued as the good summer place that I think it is.
I took a
fika afterwards with and old good friend of my and we have a small talk about
almost everything, life, politic and how people act at this meeting.

Here I
found some of my pieces; I have to say that I´m glad to be at a site with so
many great and interesting pieces… I think we are so many great artists out
there making fabulous art, we add our soul and skills into our pieces and
internet when you use it in a good and warmly way is a great place to show and
spread
what´s coming up…
I don´t
want to be a part of the internet that doing net hate and other bad things you
can use the internet for, when you don´t have other nicer things to do.
And here
also… white is white… My dream would to do a whole seri in white, but my inner
color isn´t white, so I can just do a few once then I spill over with color…

My
waterhole and free zone summertime is in swing… The administration is not united
and that could have consequences for all of us that want have a great bit in the
sun. I hope they will agree for all of us that love this summer paradise. I
will be at the meeting and see what’s happen. I cross my fingers that the new administration
will understand the necessary of having a good and healthy administration and come
along for all members.

this fit my day very well, as I am in some kind of limbo land there my bread and
butter work are in swing… Henrik Bromander made a diving into the Russian prison
tattoos, in “jag är ingen” have Henrik Bromander make the tattoos tell the mailman’s
story, an interesting view I think and
it was a lot of things to look at and think about, what signs we use to tell a
store for few once or specific once.

Skärhamn and Nordiska Akvarellmuseet...
Today I
went to Skärhamn and Nordiska Akvarellmuseet with my friend Viola, a sunny
spring day in good company and with inspiratied crazy colorful art that I
really really liked, Joe Grillo, pop
art, graffiti, street art, absolutely outstanding sculptures made by toys in different
sizes and shapes… I get a lot of inspiration and new ideas for my own art. I
like when that happen when I visit an exhibition, when the energy come as a
nice wave over me…
I found the
images made by Joe Grillo at internet…
Gunnel Wåhlstrand creates the illusions of greatly enlarge
photographs, I´m not so impressed by the images but absolutely by her technique
and the hours I just can imagination is behind every painting of hers… Really
really great and outstanding handiwork!

I really really fall for Kolbeinn
Karlssons drawings / paintings, they contain some fun but also a serious side
of them in a pretty mixed that appeal to me.

We end our exhibition
visit with a fika at the restaurant VATTEN gourmet & café.
Then we
stopped by at IKEA on our way home, there we did some findings for our homes
and end it with a Sunday “dinner”…
As always a
great outing with Viola.
