Viola and I had a great Saturday...

Yesterday, I have a lot of sweets… today, Sunday it’s Marie bebådelsedag and våffeldagen, so I started one day earlier just for sure that I would have a våffla.

Marie bebådelsedag = Annunciation Day.

våffla= waffle.

Linda Marie Karlsson at Sintra 17 March - 10 April...

Viola, my friend and neighbour…

Beautiful and fragile…

Another way of working and get inspired by nature, Linda Marie use the branches from nature mixed with gemstones and other kind of wood in her jewellery pieces, a lovely way to use the nature I think, she has electroforming some of the branches.

a real diamond ring...

May be not the first ring made out of stone… It has been done before, but the problem and the uniqueness with this diamond stone ring is that I think it’s hard to find diamond sizes like this to carve a ring… I’m very very impressed! A lovely piece of jewellery art.

last Sunday...

Sunday 18/3 I was invited by a friend to see the film, Simon och ekarna.
We had a “fika” before the film… a place that I haven’t been before, it was okay.

I like the film very much; I was very sceptical from the beginning and have no thoughts about it… I have read the book long time ago, when I had moved to Gothenburg from Sundsvall in 1986. I like Marianne Fredriksson as a writer.

When we went out from the movie we saw this bicycle, may be not the way I want to find my bicycle after a nice movie (it wasn’t my bicycle…) a not so funny practical joke, or?!

the end...

The end, time to take it down and have my last cup of coffee for this time…

I got a copy of the guest book from the exhibition and I want to say THANK YOU very much, all the once that have visit my exhibition, and as I could see and read I believe that I reach my goal to make you all happy with my art.

It was one that has write that I was expansive, hm?! May be I am… But if you are thinking that I serve you with this, that I pay all the cost for the exhibition from my own pocket even the rent for the gallery space, then I don’t think I’m so expansive at all and IF I sell something I can tell it’s a bonus, because, even if I sell some of my jewellery pieces it ends up with a cup of coffee, not more not less… That’s the way to be an artist that burn for her art, a stupid artist that what to tell a story and made people think and act and may be feel good over her work.

I have a bread and butter work just so I don’t need to compromise with my art, to be main stream is not my goal.

Carolina Claesson...

Carolina Claesson is exhibit in the window exhibition at Sintra. It’s so playful and so naïve in a good way, it’s inspired by her son’s sketches/drawings and it’s beautiful and it’s once again playful and I want them all, all these amazing small creatures, to wear them would be some kind of big talk about object, so great!

Kerstin Sarvimäke…

Kerstin Sarvimäke is a ceramicist and a member of Sintra…

I love the cup when I saw it and I needed to have it!
And NOW it’s mine. I couldn’t resist it.

the next to the last day of my exhibition at Sintra...

Monday, 12th of March...

The next to the last day of my exhibition at Sintra a sunny day and I took some photos at the ”end” and have another cup of coffee at Sintra, I have been serve a lot of cup of coffee there with nice colleges… It has been a great welcome every time I have been there and I’m so grateful for it. I hope it don’t was the last cup of coffee there.
