Today... some snow left...

Time when it start snowing...


The first snow this winter… last winter we had a lot of snow, but it’s still a very very mildly and warm winter here in Sweden and the snow have been lightning with non-attendance so far… I think it more or less the same in other places where you expect snow in other parts of Europe too; no snow so far… may be we all get a green Christmas.

The time goes very very fast these days… soon it’s Christmas and a “happy” new year…

Konstepidemin Saturday 3rd of December…

The Christmas fair at Konstepidemin Saturday 3rd of December…

As I have written many times before, I like Konstepidemin a lot, the atmosphere and the generous artist that work there…. For a day like this with open studios and things for sale for a nice price it takes some days for the artists to arrange and then be open minded and take care of the visitors, time that they can’t work with their own things… I think the artist are doing a great job to invite us to their studios and workshops and let us all be a part for awhile, talking about their work and the ideas behind and what it could lead to in the end…

I thank you once again for great meetings and I wish you all at merry merry Christmas up at the Konstepidemi area.

I bought some lovely ceramic sculptures this day, from the ceramic artist Karin Östberg, I love her ceramic pieces and I’m happy for the once that I bought!

the evening, 1st of December...

Kulturlabbets opening at VSA.

Opening at the evening 1st of December, mingle, performance and some chip.
A successful evening I think, the artist was satisfied and I was grateful for the visitors and the nice performance and all the great paintings that we have the opportunity to show until the 10th of January 2012.

The VSA gallery is open; 13-16 Monday to Thursday

HDK Christmas fair…9-10-11/12…


Kort och affischer på transsexuella drottningar från sagovärlden, accessoarer som flugor gjorda i trä, stickade kalsonger och smycken av plast. HDK:s studenter säljer unika produkter på sin julmarknad 9-11 december.

Inför dopparedagen: kom över till julmarknaden på HDK – Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk, Göteborgs universitet.
Studenter inom design, smycke-, textil- och keramikkonst säljer handgjorda produkter som de själva har skapat. Här finns allt möjligt du kan ge bort och kanske också sådant du önskar att få?

Du kan till exempel hitta screentryckta tolkningar av Shakespeares ”Stormen”, ringar slunggjutna i silver och av textil. Det finns också unika broderier att fästa på kroppen, slipsar sydda av gamla juldukar, julgransdekor i ull, lampskärmar, mönster att följa, snurror, träpussel, - och mer därtill! Blir benen trötta? Slå dig ned och avnjut en fika i skolans café. Julmarknaden arrangeras av Konstkårens HDK-sektion.

I love the sculptures of human that he place in water, the bomb sculptures is for me more of a comment of the world of to day during the human are more as fairytales for me, a little bite like the idea of Platons Atlantis.

Varde ljus och det har det varit ett tag nu…

I past Liseberg, Gothenburg’s famous fair-ground this evening and it’s amazing with all the light, the colourful light and water, its magic in a fairytale way…

finally snow...

I got these snow photos from my dad today by e-mail, so may be I got a white Christmas this year, yesterday the first snow fall in my childhood hoods…
It’s something special with snow and the whiteness, it’s like poofy wiped cream all over the landscape, but I also like the weather here in Gothenburg right now, + 8-10 degrees and a low sun. (Gothenburg can be cold and moist at wintertime and that’s not fu n at all).

My hoods Majorna, I like the creativity that you can see around you in this hoods, today I found this advertisement pillar and some one has done it to a non advertisement pillar, I like when this things happen in my surroundings, it make me believe that we all have the power to take control over the commercial consumer society that impose us…
