from my friend Katarina Forsberg...

In one way I longing for the sun and the heat and the beaches, but in the same time when I see this kind of silent photos from my hometown, I longing for a ski tour or just a walk in the nice cold snow weather and landscape. Isn’t beautiful?!

I got these photos from my friend Katarina Forsberg, she sent it to me by e-mail…
(Among the once with the pipes).

pipe guys from Sundsvall...

These pipe guys arrived today by e-mail from my friend Katarina in Sundsvall,
my hometown… She had caught them at her walk in town this morning.
Nice to see the pipe up in the North with dripping noses and snow caps on their heads. I grateful over them and I also think that are a little bite funny.

pipe guys from my Thursday walk in Majorna...

a industrial problem???

We have all different problems!
My problem is that I hate when I get this awful circle under my toothbrush every morning.
And others get upset when the break a nail!!!
Could this be two industrial problems???
The latest time Lee Redmond from Salt Lake City in USA cut her nails was 1979.
One and the longest thumb nail was 89 cm long, it’s a world record… but it broke in a car accident, so “bye bye” world record.

this kind of things, feeds my brain...

For me this is two very strange things... I don’t understand them at all... But I think it’s funny to see them, to think about the idea behind and WHY things happen, and WHO, who decide what’s coming up?!
This is things that I can think about when I working with my own things, as jewelleries or other art pieces, it feeds my brain.
A little bite as it felt like/look like a couch or a Belgian Blue, or it felt like chop sticks and it is a fork… what’s the point?!

a day at work...

From my daily work at Kulturlabbet... I really, really enjoy this work; it is some much good and nice things and feelings coming out of this work. This is some example of what we are doing, we are creating scenes and then we taking photos of it, add it into the computer and then we look at it as slideshows. It’s a really good way of working.

Photoshop by night...

Photoshop by night... I like to play with photos, see what’s happen if I do this or that...I also think it’s a good way of learning more about my own person, how I look what I like or unlike... it some kind of “learn to know” session... All of my trying and playing don’t end up well, sometimes I don’t recognize myself in what’s coming up, but that’s also a good experience, that you leave your idea of who you are and turn into something new, something else, get distance and can use it in another way, may be as some kind of idea to something else or in some art piece... You never know.

Just for the moment I try to work with wool, glass beads and textiles... I like to see what other have done in these fields and I have to say that it’s a lot of amazing stuff you can find of other creative jewellery artists...

If you take a look at Montserrats blog; http://montserratlacomba.blogspot.com/
You will find out that a lot of piece of jewelleries are made out of or use the similar technique as some textile artist use…

I think it’s amazing and fascinated that we work so close to each other. But may be it’s because of what Erik Kuiper said about his pieces of jewelleries, that the represent a third skin?!
That we working with a third layer for our body?! For me it seems right and also very clever…
