wax print patterns…

Wax print patterns…

I first saw these amazing, good looking fabrics at Bibbi Forsmans blog; http://bibbiforsman.blogspot.com/

I really, really like it when I saw it there, and now I got one meter of it! …So I diced to go down town and check this shop out. It is a fantastic nice African shop and I have order a beautiful necklace from Mali a Kaori necklace for the nice price of 275 sek.

These fabrics where brought to Kalebassi from Nigeria by Aino Ternstedt-Oni-Okpaku (one of the Afro Art founders) along with other art and craft objects.

I like these pieces, different signs…

I can warmly recommend this blog; http://www.18kt.es/ if you are interesting in jewelleries. 18kt is so good, interesting and amazing… always nice to landed there and get inspiration of other jewelleries work, to see what’s happens around the world in the jewellery field.

I think the artist for these three works is by Mònica Tort i Anna Montserrat and Colleen Baran, my Spanish is not good at all, so I look at the photos and try to figure it out what it means and who has done things… Sorry if I get it wrong!

The two at the top should be by Mònica Tort i Anna Montserrat and the last piece with the stamp is Colleen Baran.

The Rhoda Handbag

Handbag created by textile designer Sarah Bayley

Constructed using milk bottle tops in association with waste tops from the pharmaceutical industry. The handle is cleverly made from shower hosing produced from over production in local factories
A testament to creative re-use of material. Hand made from recycled bottle caps resulting in a vibrant, colourful design.
Many of Sarah's designs cleverly reuse material drawing life back into its very purpose. Each design is hand crafted, and is purely a one off. So you can guarantee no one has the same design!
A vibrant spring/summer design to make anyone stand out of the grey.

Simply Fantastic!!

Shadows of Susanne and me…
Today I took my bicycle and went to Saltholmen and Kallbadhuset, a nude bathing place, women and men bathing separated from each other…

This is one of my absolutely greatest places in the Gothenburg area at summer time.
Kallbadhuset at Saltholmen.

It’s a paradise; it’s a calm place with fresh windy sea air, nice water (even if it’s to cold for me just known, only 17 degrees…). You can be there by yourself or go with friends, I go there by myself and then I meet my female friends out there, and we have a special place to be, to meet, out there… Soooooooooooooooo nice!!!
