Saturday 25th of May... Hammarkullen...

Saturday 25^th of May I was to Hammarkullen and the 38^th year’s festival there, a great sunny day with a lot of colorful people, dance and crazy merry-go-round for a day or two.

I was there with my friend Frida and her little 3 years old son, we had a great day.

I think this is a great and very well planed event, a weekend there we all come together, old, young, Swedish or from other countries… a continental feeling. I think this kind of events make us all forget our backgrounds and just be in the moment of happiness, color and joy. May be it seems as some kind of illusion when a lot of cars burning in different suburb of Sweden at the same time, but I think we need to be ware of each other … and this kind of event could help us all to get a little bit closer, that we share the same space and we all are allowed to be here in this area and country for the same reason…

I like these kinds of event and I think we all could join it and learn about each other.

Friday 24th of May...

Friday 24^th of May I was with my two friend s Anita and Malin to a after work event that a common art study friend has arrange, Tina Harldorsson… We visit the gallery and ad a small talk about old times, it was 16years since we study art together and it felt as yesterday. Afterwards me and my two friends went for beer at a pub at Avenyn for small talks and catch up talk, a nice flash back time in good company.

On my inner yard we have a couple of magpie, I love these birds and last year (if some remember it, I blog about the magpie baby bird that the seagull killed a early morning, a very very sad experience, I know that the nature have its own way… but still, very very sad). This year the magpie couple has got a new baby bird and I experience a fight in the kinder garden, the “parents” protect the little one from the seagulls and I look everyday and hope it still are there, and lucky it´s feels like this little one is a cocky once, so I hope it survive and grow up.

My kitchen window, just to show my mother that I have got green finger on old days… It grows as he… the wax flower smells amazing in the evening time and it was a while since it blossom last.

Saltholmens kallbadhus, my absolutely favorite sun tanning place in Gothenburg, now the summer season is here!!! The water is still too cold for me, but just to be in the sun is enough for me, the temperature in the water is +16 degrees.

longing back...

Some years ago, can remember when (2007 ?), I went to South Africa and the Cape Town to look at recycling art, was there by myself for 1 months and in the end I had got a lot of lovely friends, some are still my friends, years after… It was a great time and I learn a lot, both about the world, the peopl e and about recycling art. Some of the experience I still working with, it had color my own art work and that was one of my attentions with the trip, but you never knows what will come to you, what you can use and what not…

from squirrel to creepy-crawly…

I got these two images at e-mail from my niece Tova, she had catch them with her mobile phone. Always nice to get images from others, above all I like squirrels and have them as some kind of totems.

Squirrels and seahorses are my favorites in the animal world, the first one is quick and have a sharp look in the eyes, the other once the sea horse is both female and male, the male take care of the kids. (in an easy way of explaining …)
