a small walk...

Yesterday I took a small walk to clear my mind and get inspired to start work with new jewellery pieces…
It was a grey autumn day, but it’s still warm and calm, a perfect day for a walk alone with my camera…

This is the Masthuggskyrkan and the view from there… A lovely spot if you want to see Gothenburg from above.

an interesting collaboration...

I have started collaboration with Sebastian Pommer. We will find some way to work that fits us both, I doing the jewellery and Sebastian will take the photos, an interesting collaboration I think, but also hard, we need to fine our own lines in this small project, what is my meaning and what is his goal?! My intention must be visible and Sebastian’s photo skills too…
This is a start of something that is in the beginning.

For the moment I can see his attention, but I can’t see mine… I like the idea that someone else look at my jewellery and transform it into something else, but it’s also very very hard to let them go in some direction that I can’t control, but as the main artist in this I believe that my word will be the last…

This is the first time I let someone else taking “care” of my art work, to be a part in the art work…

pantyhose faces...

A day at work, yesterday we had a small workshop, learning to do pantyhose faces or creatures… a really inspiration and funny time and the result was great… I think that we where a lot that have a smile on our own faces when we left.

This will be faces for the refrigerator, all the faces has magnets at the back.

All you nee to do these ones is; pantyhose, magnet, glue, filling material, plastic eyes and tread and a needle and off course; a big potion of fantasy!
We used sheep's wool for hair (and tread), but you can take tread as well.

Kobi Levi, amazing shoe designer…

Amazing ideas of what shoes can be… even if it’s not my cup of the to wear these kind of high heels shoes, but I love the ideas and the creativity and that it’s possible to do this kind of shoe objects.
May be some of the shoes are more “crazy” than beautiful?!
Any how, you will get attentions if you wear them, I think.

The coffee shoes may be is my cup of…



Kobi Levi

Kobi Levi graduated from Bezalel academy of Art & Design, Jerusalem, in the jewelry and accessories design department. He now specializes in footwear design and development/making. He works as a freelance designer. In the past 5 years he collaborated with Skinsfootwear company and is currently working on his own men shoe line in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Developed industrial footwear in both Italy, China and Brazil. His work is presented in various exhibitions in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Verona, St. Etienne and Berlin.
Kobi Levi: 'When I design a shoe I think about it as a sculpture to wear, an art piece you live with. You and your body affect its look and it affects yours. Footwear should have its life with and without being on the feet, on the contrary to cloths that exist only when being worn'.
