kulturlabbet...

This one is mine, but I have helped everyone with the last touch…

I have done the head to this one, of a balloon…

I have been working at Kulturlabbet for one month, in August.
We have done papé maché figures, and I have to say that I love this kind of job, its creative, fun and really, really a source of inspiration .
I think this creature is amazing, done with humour, love and a lot of fantasy and passion.

We started with newspapers and tape, building up shapes of some kind of “human” then we add paper and paperhangers paste on it… colour it with watercolour and in the end we add things to the figures and lacquer them.

I hope you like these creatures as much as I do!
I have done the pink one, with a glass bubble on the head.

Åsa Simpson...

I meet Åsa Simpson at Kontshantverks marknaden in Gothenburg some weeks ago, a very nice and good jewellery designer.

It’s always of interest to meet other jewellery makers and talk and get in contact with “new”/”more” colleges all over the world…
I think that Sweden is a very small country and we aren’t so many jewellery makers here so it’s good to say hi and switch addresses… You never know if you met again.

oya design...

I was model for my friends Sara and Sara and their new brand oya design.
http://www.oya.dinstudio.se/

It’s in Swedish, but you can always look at the photos and if you are interesting of some of the clothes or bags, please contact them!

Me and Mody as models for the clothes…

galleri hnoss...

..........................................................

Annika Bohlin showing her things in the mini exhibition at gallery Hnoss, in four small boxes.
A really good initiative from the gallery, to invite others to show their things at the same time as the “big” event.

In Gothenburg we don’t have so many spaces to show our jewellery artist things, so every new place is a good and nice bonus for all of us who are working with jewellery art.

Lena Olson and Annika Bohlin have a coffee break in the sun...

Janina Kurp outside gallery hnoss.
Annika and Annika are friends of mine and I relay, really like their jewelleries.

It was nice to see both the jewellery and the artists “live”, Annika Å lives in Stockholm and Annika B lives some kilometres outside Gothenburg in Trollhättan.

It was a sunny Saturday and we had coffee outside together with Lena Olson and Tore Svensson, colleges here in Gothenburg.

galleri Konstepidemin...

Paintings and sculptures, they fit very well together and it was very much to discover in the paintings, which I like very much… It’s hard to get boring when you can found never things all the time.

two artists...

Nils Ramhöj... Painting and studio door.
I found the photo of one of his paintings at Nils website.

View from Patriks studio windows...

Janina and I get invited to two artists at Konstepidemin. www.konstepidemin.com to see what their was working with in their studios.

First we visit Nils Ramhöj, I have never talk to him before, but I admire his portraits, I think he is a great painter.
It was a really good meeting, with a lot of inspiration and goodness in the air.

Then we visit Patrik Andinés studio, I have meet Patrik once before… He is also a very sympatric guy and I like his things too. I took some photos from his studio, at the roof in the bathroom and from a window… It’s a lot of nice views in the studios and in the surroundings of Konstepidemin.

galleri Kaustik...

Erik, the owner of gallery Kaustik.

Tove and I trying the things that they had clean up from the gallery and that I get to my plastic fantastic collection of things to melt down when I got the inspiration and time.
We had really funny times, playing with this “hats”.

saturday dinner at Janinas place

Saturday dinner at Janinas place, really good fired Halomi cheese with vegetables.
I have to say, one more time or more… That I’m so grateful over all my nice friends.
I think it’s a gift to have good people around!
