Skottdagen / leap day a great spring afternoon in Gothenburg city…

In Swedish about the artwork at Brunnsparken.

An amazing sunny day and the spring were definitely in the air and the people were outdoors hanging in the sun.
Fantastic! I t gives me hope that the summer is close.

every day…

Finally my ordinary every day life is here for awhile… Now I can see and enjoy the sun, the dust bunnies are catch and I feel free to just relax and hang around with friends.

My friend and college Janina Kurps window mobile is shine in my window a sunny afternoon with all the small colourful glass beads among different textures of metal tread.

blue flower…

From the opening day of my exhibition by Lina and her family.

a red paper rose…

I got this paper rose from my niece Tova by snail mail at the Valentines Day.
It’s made of coffee-filtering paper, tape and a pipe-cleaner.
May be it’s the next generation artist we see here?!

an idea…

If I do rings it would probably end up as this, this is my first ring in a very long time; I like more to do brooches and necklaces these days.

it’s dust bunnies and things all over the place...

This weekend is house-cleaning weekend… the sun is shining and I have to take catch up…
Clear up is the main team this weekend… it’s dust bunnies and things all over the place.

pink flower...

A beautiful flower that I got from my friend Agneta at the opening day of my exhibition, now it’s in my new cleaning window.

THANK you Lina!

This is a gift to my friend and model Lina Fors, as thank for the great work as a model.

Paula Lindblom at Sintra...

At Sintras website I found this nice photo from some of my jewellery, I think it was a great photo that explains a lot of how the rest of the exhibition looks like.

Thank you for a good photo!

Even here you can see my things…

once again…

Amazing, now the name is right spelling and the gallery wrong, not bad for me that the news paper want to see my art in an art a gallery, instead of a Arts and Crafts gallery… I see my jewellery pieces more than art and myself as an artist more then an Arts and Crafts person, may be it’s something in this “wrong” that have some true in it or a wish of?!

A little bite down at the page you will find everything in order. A nice thing with the two images at the top is at that I used the Palmhouse in the Garden Society of Gothenburg to take my pics for the exhibition and the the pic on the left side,( my pic) that Sebastian Pommer has taking are from the Palmhouse, so a connection is there even if the news paper don’t know about it.

Isn’t typical?! When I got the light on me, it went wrong and it’s more or less same that have no light on at me…

Today I look in the Sunday news paper and found my exhibition in a little notice, NICE!
Then I look again and my name was misspelled… hm?!
Isn’t the problem that I as an artist also use my name as some kind of trademark?!
The only way for me as an artist is to be connect by piece and name, otherwise I think it’s not meaningful with press at all.
If the gallery send a press release to news papers and the news paper aren’t able to read and spell my name right, is it good for me or is it just whatsoever?!

I have sent an e-mail to Göteborgs Postens culture department and I hope they will do some kind of correction, the best had been that they visit the exhibition and see for themselves what kind of jewellery art I’m doing, get happy and inspirited and in the end remember my name for the good cause.

noooooooooo…

Fettisdagen /Shrove Tuesday – semla/Shrovetide bun…

I’m not so fund of this bun; I like the wiped cream and the almond icing but not the wheat meal bun. This year I skip this Shrovetide bun.

Anna-Karin Haag and Sara Malm...

Sintras fönsterutställning- window exhibition, two girls from HDK jewellery art department shows a collaboration, really really nice I think, stop by and have a look at their creativity.

Good luck, you two!

Sintra one more time...

Can you se that the Sintra sign and the two old ladies standing outside havening match up hats?!

Now my jewellery piece can do without me, now they have to stand by themselves and talk to the visitors without having me explanation what it is and what it made of…

I walk off with my flowers.

ALL the lovely flower that I got…

The staff at gallery Sintra has been amazing, kindly, helpful and just wonderful.
THANK YOU Kerstin Sarvimäki who help me to build and arrange the exhibition, without your help, I don’t know were I landed.
Stina Widén Samuelsson who is a very very nice and warmly person who also help me with a lot of wise suggestion, it has been a pleasure to have you both around, and without you I can tell that the result wouldn’t end up as it did.
Özay Emert and Johan Svanbom among other has also support me in this project of building the exhibition at gallery Sintra and I’m grateful and happy for your kindness and helpfulness.

It has been three turbulence day but with order in the chaos too, it has been three great days and the grand final, the opening of the exhibition was great even if the rain was falling, some of my friends and familiarize and neighbours had the time to stopped by and some send me text message that they was thinking of me and will stop by some other day, some people that I don’t know stopped by and seems happy over my jewellery and this Saturday it was small sunbeams laying in blue and green boxes… my colourful jewellery was lighting up the grey every day life weather.
I’m absolutely satisfied with the opening day and in my mind I was happy and in my body I had an awful back pain.

Stina Widén Samuelsson and Elin Tollbom helped me under the opening day and that was really really great, to have someone else taking care of the candy, the refreshing and all the lovely flowers that I got from friends.

To all of you, family, friends, familiarize and colleges and bloggers THANK YOU for your support! It’s a lonely world to been an artist and when you work and finally show your things it’s good to have all the good forces around you…
Even if I’m sure of my work, it can be a little bite skinless in the end… and with friendly force around me I get covered.

I hope you take your time and stop by at gallery Sintra and have a look under these weeks my exhibition will be showed there.

A big Thanks once again to my photographer Sebastian Pommer and my model Lina Fors, you made it clearer that it’s wearable jewellery I made even if it has a touch of sculptural when it’s not on body. It has been an interesting and good collaboration, it was and is the first time I let someone else taking my photos, but it was an experiment that went well.

My blog friend Karin Jonsson showed up, a very very great and nice surprise, nice to finally meet in the real world ( even if we had say hello to each other some years ago).

day 3, opening day of the exhibition through Violas eyes and camera…

a visitor...

Charlotta Klingström, Lena Olson and me talk about the pieces...

Lena Mann, me and a visitor talk about the material...

Viola Jansson my friend and neighbour has been kind and take some photos at the opening day that she gave to me, here you can see some of here photos from Saturday.
THANK YOU Viola! You are a rock when it blows.

I need a haircut!!!
