just an idea… this is nothing yet…

A tamarind and a pair of earrings, some kind of left over that I got from a friend…
I saw the shape of a small animal in the tamarind and when I add the “wings” I think it gets a little bite clearer, but right now I have no idea were it will fit in and if I will use it and what it will be in the end, a brooch or a necklace??? No idea at all but me likes the attitude of it so far…

kill your darlings…

I try to find some interesting with these pieces, but I believe that they don’t fit together very well; it’s to over done…

united colors of benetton...

I saw this window-dressing down town and I have to say that I like when stores make some more out of the display that they have… This is hard to see that it is a store for clothes, but as always united colors of benetton use more or less dramatic ideas to show and sell…

broken…

A wood ring...
Irritated, when I found something that I like to wear… it broken.

sometimes I like to see what’s happen… if I do…

Just playing and having fun… bug eyes and paint and an old useless brush.

It’s nothing serious about this at all, more a play with things in another way that I do with my jewellery creations… But I have to say that I like the result any way, but I have no idea what to use it for, more then I already said, just for fun…

some of my new pieces – another bottle brooch…

some of my new pieces in different angles…

It was some tastes from the spring program and it ends up with a cake party.

A great evening!

street art in my hoods…

Bangatan in Majorna… unlucky the commercial forces don’t like this kind f signs in the public space so they have add advertising signs over this amazing creativity, a message so much better the coca cola and other crappy things....

just a parenthesis...

Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera and Jan Lööf – bildmakaren/ illustrator at Göteborgs konstmuseum.

I think this exhibitions was a little bite too expensive, I don’t like when art turn into “finkonst” – art for rich people and not for the working class citizen, when I pay this ticket, not even the year annual commutation ticket at 40 Skr include. I ask the once at the museum why it was so expansive and the answer was- it cost to arrange this two exhibitions.
I wonder if it wasn’t an idea of thinking of to search for some kind of scholarship from the government or the municipality.

It was nice to see these two exhibitions but I have to say that I didn’t’ thank it was worth the money.

Torsten Jurell - beyond the lower world at Röhsska museum...

We had the opportunity to listen and join an interesting speech and a guided tour about Torsten Jurells art by one of the workers at Röhsska museum, how he come up with the sculptures and his ideas behind, very very interesting and also very nice pieces.
It’s always nice to get”behind” the ideas and thoughts of art pieces; it gives the art a deeper sense and enlarge understanding.

I get trapped by the story about the cockroach girl.

Torsten Jurell works in the field of sculpture, painting and graphic art. He exhibits continuously since 1976 in Sweden and abroad. His works are featured in private and public collections across Europe, China and the U.S.A.

THE SCULPTURES are mostly in wood, clay, stone, paper, metall - casted in bronze, aluminum and glass .
