lite tidigt, a little bite early…

GLAD PÅSK

HAPPY EASTER

Jag önskar dig en trevlig Påsk.

I wish you a nice Easter.

Dom här bilderna är ifrån Påsk procession i Girona, Spanien förra Påsken, en märklig och vacker upplevelse, jag gillar att man tar ut kyrkorummet till det offentliga rummet och bär omkring på det mellan trånga gränder.

This is some photos from last years Easter in Girona, Spain, the Easter procession through the alley-ways in Girona.

Best wishes, Paula

jäpp, is a Swedish word...

Jäpp is the feeling I have for this evening piece of mine… Jäpp is like yup in English I think. A necklace made out of cake mold in aluminium, plastic and glass beads and a small Christmas decoration.

this is nothing at all and it will be destroyed today… just a memory of an idea…

Frustration, this is nothing at all, even if I think it looks great I have to redo this piece, I have done it very well BUT the weight is in the wrong place and it isn’t possible to wear in a nice and elegant way, this piece looks better in my imagination then in real life… I want to blog these images just to show that not everything goes your way and that the time goes too… I have to cut this piece up and started with a new view, a view that I have no idea about right now, therefore a big frustration and irritation and with the word; shit happen, spinning in my head. This is something all artist stands in front of sometimes; kill your darlings. Sometimes it’s hard to get from an idea to a finish product. In this case it was/is hard to understand were the problems will show up… Now it was the fact that the weight was totally wrong places in the strings. In one way I love this expression and necklace piece and in another way I really hate it because it want be as I want to have it.

Material; porcelain birds from the flea market, candle-rings from the flea market, enamel, garnets, glass beads, wool, branches.

last Saturday and Sunday…

Saturday I was out at locale with a friend, we started with sushi and beer… A great evening! I’m a sushi lover and if it was possible, I could eat it every single day. Sunday, I was with my friend and neighbour at the best weekend market in Gothenburg, Kvibergs marknad. We had a fika with waffle and coffee… I can’t be out of coffee, which is my elixir of life. A great day with good company.

ollio, I suppose...

I found these creatures at one of the lovely trash places in my hoods, it’s a flea market place, and you rent a table and sell you things there, only open at weekends. . I believe that it is the great street artist ollio that has done them, it felt like ollios brand so to speak.

yellow and blue…

I miss my yellow balloon... Two pipe guys under the blue sky…

works in process in my workshop or small cosy studio…

Finally I have started to be creative again, I got the energy, and I got the time and I’m curios about what ´s coming up in the end… Right now I have no clue… Right now I working as he… to finish some pieces for a coming up exhibition in Alingsås konsthall in the end of May, the item is; colour. I will focus at my work some weeks now, so I will not be able to blog as much as I’m use to.
