I wish you all a nice midsummer...

Now we have midsummer here in Sweden and other Nordic countries too.
I wish you all a nice midsummer, with a lot of good herring, fresh potatoes, soured cream and chives and of course the traditional first strawberry’s of the year with wiped cream.

Don’t forget to pick seven different kind of flower and hopefully be dreaming of you big love.

This is one of my absolutely favourite parts of the year; the summer has arrived (hopefully!).

ended...

Now my solo exhibition in my hometown Sundsvall is closed… What I could understand many people have visited the exhibition and went away with a smile in their faces, which is a nice result I think…
Nothing sold, but that was not my attention, I want to show what jewellery art could be, so for me it was enough that people show up and took part. And may be I have enlarged the views.

work in process…

A brooch, a necklace and something I don’t know for sure yet…

try out...

Right now I am experience with material, see what’s comes up…
This is absolutely nothing yet, and may be it will never be something more than just a try out… to find other ways to walk.

it was me and the seagulls…

Unlucky it was a cloudy day today; I thought it would be a sun tan day today, but no way…
I took a cup of coffee out at Saltholmen and was sitting on the pier for awhile, thinking about my situation, what I have to done and just get some fresh air.

I’m glad to have so close to the archipelago of Gothenburg; it takes only 25 minutes by bicycle out to the nice places, the ocean.

art I found today...

On my bicycle trip I saw these art pieces, more public art, the kind of art that I like, art who has no signature, more for question - asking, to upset or make us other happy…
You have to be wear of this kind of art, you have to look around you, be observant and curios about your surroundings and IF you are, you will find trace of other people that wants to show their ideas, they thoughts or just say “hallo”…

one of two...

Today I took my bicycle out to the archipelago, on my way I saw two small roe deer’s… they was running cross the street and into a garden, I catch one of this small once with my camera, I think they had lost their mother, they was sounding like small crying child, I have never heard a roe deer like this before… I hope they handle the car traffic, because they were very small and the traffic is hard in this area.

to recommend…

This is my photos from 2008.

This event I look forward to experience…

Sculpture in Pilane is a wonderful area placed in the nature; you walk by your own up and down the hills finding interesting sculpture placed in the nature, you walking among sheep’s and other visitors… a lovely experience if the weather is with you.

2008 I visit Pilane the last time, or the only time so far…

Jitish Kallat, the international acclaimed Indian artist is right now at his studio in Mumbai completing a sculpture exclusively for Pilane called when will you... The sculpture is 30 metres long and will arrive by sea at Pilane hopefully in time for the opening.

The Icelandic artist Steinunn Thorarinsdottir's artwork embodies human figures in iron and aluminum that gather around the ancient stone circles of Pilane. The British artist Laura Ford brings a series of charming heartbroken and sullen girls in bronze, called Weeping Girls.

The prominent world artist Tony Cragg from UK has greatly contributed to making Pilane into an art event of high International standards and this year he is back in Pilane with astounding new sculptures. Also joining with an installation of golden stumps is the Swedish artist Nils Ramhøj from Gothenburg known for his brilliant Pictures of a father. today...

Today I think it was less then +16 degrees in the water…
I try my best to catch the sun, but I have to give it up.

yesterday… sun, art and good company…

First I was out to the beautiful and near by archipelago and when I was bicycling home I took the way of my favourite area, Klippan and Röda sten and there I found an unknown art piece… I like it, but I couldn’t see the artist name somewhere.

Later the same day I meet my friend Johan, long time ago since we saw each other, always nice to catch up… we had dinner at restaurant Bombay at the second long street, out in the evening sun, taking care of the summer evening… A great day!

Sverige är fantastiskt - Sweden is fantastic…

It’s easy to understand why we had the colour yellow and blue on our flag, the landscape in the early summertime has more or less the same intense colour in the nature…

last weekend...

Last weekend was a really great summer day. I was taking of to Vrångö, the last island in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg, I can take the tram and then the ferries from my place directly to the ocean, a cheap and amazing luxury…

It’s hard to take fewer photos when the nature is as standing as it is, I love the light and I love the nature and it’s easy to find nice views whereever you look…

I bought smoked shark to have on the rocks in the sun, really really good tasting.

A lovely day with some friends, good company and a warm sun, could the life get so much better?!
